Since 1995, presidents have issued a series of annual proclamations designating the month of March as “Women’s History Month.” These proclamations celebrate the contributions women have made to the United States and recognize the specific achievements women have made over the course of American history in a variety of fields. •Social Justice Books (a project of Teach for Change), promotes the best multicultural and social justice children’s books, as well as articles and books for educators. View their  compiled list of books for every day of Women’s History Month.

•Community of Literary Magazines & Presses (CLMP), provides assistance and creates programs for independent literary publishers. View their annual WHM list of works, recommended by their members.

•A Mighty Girl is the world’s largest collection of books, toys, movies, and music for parents, teachers, and [especially!] girls, dedicated to helping them grow smart, confident and corageous. Their amazing list of +100 new biographies (released since Feb ’22) is one to bookmark.
