Don’t miss this bookclub meet up, where we review and vote on titles for the next 12 months! Titles will be from the 2019-20 Great Group Reads list (debuting in October). Great Group Reads is a WNBA National initiative where fiction, poetry and memoir titles are read and selected specifically for bookclubs. Manager Kristen Knox will expertly review and summarize the +20 titles to choose from.

A winter get-together! Members, bring books to donate to other members, and pick up fresh new ones. Plus a dish derived from a favored read. All books remaining will be donated to the public library!

About OurBridge: Ourbridge for Kids is a Charlotte-based nonprofit that supports the  refugee and immigrant community.  They offer homework help, participate in hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering , Arts and Math) projects,  provide one-on-one daily English literacy tutoring in order to accelerate the students’ acquisition of the English language. OurBRIDGE for KIDS aims to close the communication gap between school, teachers and families through the coordination of home visits, translation of school documents, and the organization of literacy nights and cultural events for parents at our center.
